Skin Care Favourites: February 2017

These are my absolute favourite skin care products so far in 2017. Some of them, I’ve been using since 2016 and others are new additions!

This Anne French ‘Deep Cleansing Milk’ is apparently a ‘classic’ skin care item which Joey’s Mumma used at my age. She said it’s the best cleanser for young skin. It’s very moisturising, so maybe not good for oily skin – but it completely cleans my skin from make-up and grime and leaves it feeling super soft!

The Clinique ‘take the day off’ line is one of my absolute favourites in the skin care department! I was given the eye make-up remover last Christmas and ADORED it and have since been collecting the remainder.

My sister, Rach, gave me the balm for my birthday. It’s a hard balm which is massaged into dry skin until it forms a cream and removes ALL make-up including waterproof mascara and matte lipsticks! It also leaves the skin silky smooth and smells lovely.

The other product is the ‘Take the day off oil’ which works much in the same way as the balm ┬ábut in oil form! It is also applied to dry skin and massaged until it becomes a cream like formula, removing all traces of makeup. I was lucky enough to have been passed this on from my girl, Meg!

Finally, another fave of mine; the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Like the Clinique products, this is applied to a dry face. But, this time, it comes out as a cream. It has a lovely fresh, almost herbal scent and is best removed with the accompanying muslin cloth and warm water. It works wonders and you can actually feel it tingling on the skin as it works.

If you would like a blog with photos of me actually using any of these products, then do let me know!

Take care, Em xxx
